The Role
Oxfam International Asia Regional Platform is looking for an Innovation and Program Quality Coordinator who enables effective and successful change in innovation and program quality practices in Asia, working with countries, cluster. regional programs, regional platform and Oxfam affiliates. Contributing to Oxfam in Asia regional strategic ambitions, the key aspects of the role include 1)leading, managing, implementing, monitoring, learning and reviewing Oxfam in Asia’s innovation roadmap to systematically nurture innovative solutions and 2)accompanying and supporting the transformation of program quality practices, in particular in the areas of design and knowledge and learning. The position will manage strategic initiatives, use blended learning approaches and provide coordination and direct support for innovation and programme quality at scale.
Who we’re looking for
The Innovation and Program Quality Coordinator will be an experienced, dedicated, and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs with the following qualification and competencies:
- Minimum five years of experience in similar roles, with minimum 3 years of experience working with multi country stakeholders.
- Strong understanding and experience with innovation processes / trajectories;
- Experience in managing complex and innovative programs preferably with rights-based long-term development, influencing and humanitarian work;
- Experience in Program quality with specific focus on design and knowledge management;
- Experience with blended learning strategies, preferably related to innovation and/or program quality.
- Effective interpersonal, negotiation and informal leadership skills with demonstrable ability to lead, influence and motivate others in a multi-stakeholders context both internally and externally.
- Demonstrable organizational and project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills including accuracy, consistency, attention to detail, tenacity and the ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrable ability to think creatively and practically for innovation and program quality with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills in English.
- Must demonstrate commitment and experience to gender issues, and ideally to feminist principles
- Work well in a team as well as independently and show initiative;
