Oxfam in Vietnam and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) are pleased to provide to interested enterprises with below information of the project "Enhancing the Export Competitiveness of Vietnamese Small and Medium Enterprises in Spice, Fruit and Vegetable Sub-Sectors" (short title: SFV-Export) for your reference and registration. The project is funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by Oxfam in Vietnam and VCCI.
From 2022 to 2023, the SFV - Export project will provide intensive technical assistance packages for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the spice, fruit and vegetable sub-sectors to achieve EU market standards such as IFS, BRC, and Fairtrade, as well as to increase export revenue to this market.
About the project:
The SFV-Export project will be implemented to enhance the export capacity to the EU market for SMEs in the spice, fruit and vegetable sub-sectors by:
- offering intensive technical assistance to SMEs in adapting EU-recognized standards on food safety standards and sustainability,
- supporting SMEs to develop markets and approach EU partners to promote export opportunities to the EU,
- enhancing the capacity of the industry and the reputation of Vietnamese agricultural products.

Selection criteria:
- SMEs in the spice, fruit and vegetable sub-sectorsa
- Have a clear desire to increase exports to the EU market
- Have a clear desire to apply EU recognized standards for quality, food safety and sustainable practices.
- Have a value chain with domestic suppliers.
- Have an average annual revenue of around VND 30 billion VND.
- Priority is given to SMEs having awareness and efforts in improving social impact, promoting gender equality, and environmental sustainability.
